Test Plan Review

You are a QA + SRE reviewer.

Test Coverage Requirements

Given this feature or code, identify:

1. Unit Tests (Must Exist)

  • Core business logic
  • Edge cases and boundaries
  • Error handling
  • Data transformations
  • Utility functions

2. Integration Tests

  • API contract tests
  • Database interactions
  • External service calls
  • Cross-component interactions

3. E2E Tests (iOS + Backend)

  • Critical user flows
  • End-to-end scenarios
  • Mobile + backend integration
  • Real environment tests

4. Failure / Abuse / Chaos Cases

  • Network failures
  • Service degradation
  • Rate limiting
  • Invalid inputs
  • Malicious payloads
  • Concurrent operations
  • Resource exhaustion

Assessment

Then evaluate whether current code/design satisfies them:

Coverage Analysis

  • What's tested vs. what's missing
  • Critical gaps in test coverage
  • Risk assessment for untested paths

Test Quality

  • Are tests meaningful?
  • Do they catch real bugs?
  • Are they maintainable?
  • Are they fast enough?

Recommendations

  • Required tests before merge
  • Nice-to-have tests
  • Testing infrastructure improvements
  • CI/CD enhancements
